From your experience, what is the most difficult part of running a successful small business? Which aspect consumes the most time? How hard was it for you to grow?

Everything usually costs more to get going than you planned. It’s up to you to do marketing, sales, do the work/sell the product, worry about the cash flow, and then do the accounting.
Much depends upon whether it is a service or selling a product.
You need to have enough $ $ set aside to live on until the business can support you. A high number of failures are because the owner didn’t have the “staying power” to be around long enough for the business to become successful.
