Question by My Business Plan: What kind of Leadership style is it that?
compells the most powerful man in the world, make his second in command look like some kind of doofus. Much like Obama did to Joe Biden when the reporter asked the president what Biden meant by a thirty percent chance of failure with the porkulus bill.
Did Obama react that way because deep down he is a racist turd?

Best answer:

Answer by whimsy
No, I thought it was funny. Biden needs to stop acting like the President and assume his subservient role.

Southwest Airlines’ Colleen Barrett on ‘Servant Leadership’

Most of the US airline industry is under assault from skyrocketing fuel prices and a sluggish economy, but the message that Southwest Airlines president Colleen Barrett brought to the recent Wharton Leadership Conference was about the importance of treating employees and customers well. Innovative leaders such as Southwest chairman Herb Kelleher and smart management of non-human resources — especially Southwest’s fuel purchasing hedges that have saved the company more than billion — have certainly helped the airline post profits for 35 consecutive years. But the foundation for all that, she said, has been making the satisfaction of employees and customers the highest priority.

how do leadership styles differ from area to area and what impact does it have on the people.

discuss how being a manager and being a leader can differ and correlate that to world issues eg iraq and how Bush is the main man but his followers do the work so to speak and how he interracts differently with different world leaders.
he sees australia as an ally so treats the then prime minister howard with great respect and dignity. anybody who is not an ally is treated in another way altogether because it is not for the betterment of the US

could you please correct this essay?

Question by ANNA: could you please correct this essay?
After having a short break we started Management Style Leadership Inventory (Mach-1) with Dr.X. Since we had to participate in MSLI class for 3 days and 12 hours per day, I felt that it would be a boring class with a huge amount of readings for memorizing. In the first 10 minutes of the class, I found out that I was totally wrong, and X’s class was more interesting than all MBA’s classes that I have ever had. The method of his teaching was completely different; we were Listening to theories and then applying all those theories and strategies in a practical way in our group assignments and discussions. We stayed in previous groups that Y had made, and groups were named: c, b, r, and y by X. I was in B group, my group members were:gg, A, e and S. After a brief lecture, X asked us to do the first theory in our own and then he asked us how to join our group and redo the exercise in the team then compare our answers with each other in order to pick up and select the more accurate answers.

It is an excellent essay but there are a few typos which probably occurred when putting it on answers like the L being captilized (“we were Listening” and saying “the first theory in our own” instead of “on” our own. Then the last sentence is a runon and here is a suggestion on how to fix it…

After a brief lecture, X asked us to do the first theory ON our own. Then we had to join our group, redo the exercise, and compare our answers with each other in order to pick up and select the more accurate answers.

Hope this helps. Great Job!
